On-site infusion therapy room
Infusion therapy can be life-changing for patients with rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, lupus and many other rheumatic diseases.

Same-day Appointments Available
We know early intervention offers the best results for rheumatic diseases, so we work to get new patients in as quickly as possible.
Our Commitment To Care For You
We work to make life easier for our patients. Managing the pain and disruptive symptoms of these conditions is difficult enough, so our aim is to provide a one-stop care environment to reduce visits to hospitals and other facilities for treatment procedures. Insurance plans that do not cover infusion therapy in a hospital setting may cover them in a doctor’s office, so this can make treatment far less expensive for patients in long-term care.

What is a Rheumatologist?
An internist who pursues further training in the diagnosis and treatment of what are commonly and collectively referred to as rheumatic diseases, a rheumatologist provides care for patients suffering from a wide range of conditions. Often, these diseases affect joints, muscles and bones to cause swelling, stiffness, pain and sometimes deformity.
Rheumatologists treat autoimmune conditions, which occur when the body mounts response to an unknown trigger. These responses usually fight infection, but autoimmune diseases cause them to instead attack the tissues of the body itself. When the immune system attack the linings of the joints, they cause the painful inflammation and swelling as seen in rheumatoid arthritis. Other autoimmune diseases leads immune system to attack the lining of the intestines, nerve cells, blood vessels, muscles of the legs and arms, skin cells, thyroid and other systems of the body.

How are Rheumatic Diseases Diagnosed and Treated?
The complex nature of rheumatic diseases causes diagnosis to sometimes be a challenge. The first visit to a rheumatologist will typically include the collection of complete medical and family histories, a physical exam and an assessment of symptoms. The results of any prior testing will be reviewed, and tests may be ordered. When a diagnosis has been reached through careful review of all available information, a personalized treatment plan is created.
Treatment can consist of referrals to physical therapy or other specialists, injections therapy and medications, depending upon the patient’s unique needs. During follow-up visits, a rheumatologist will treat chronic symptoms, discuss medications and suggest changes. Disability prevention or the recovery of function will also be a focus, along with quality of life concerns and coping systems. Patients can receive injections and infusion therapies at our facility during these visits as well, if needed.
Whenever possible, remission is always the goal for our patients, but we also focus on the day-to-day management of chronic conditions.

In-house Infusion Suite
We have on-site infusion suite which means our patients do not have to visit the hospital for infusion therapy. Since many insurance companies now refuse to cover the additional costs of infusion in a hospital setting in favor of infusion procedures in a doctor’s office, this saves our patients a considerable amount of time, energy and money. Because we know some of our patients don’t have access to insurance, we’re also committed to keeping our rates affordable for those paying out-of-pocket.
When you’re in pain or suffering from the myriad symptoms of sometimes-chronic conditions like rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, vasculitis, ankylosing spondylitis, lupus and osteoporosis, time is of the essence. We make a point of ensuring new patients get in for evaluation and care as quickly as possible, with no long wait times often associated with specialized medical care.
